Carney Logan Burke Architects' Caldera House Design is Quite Welcoming

Wyoming-based studio Carney Logan Burke Architects was commissioned to conceptualize the design of the Caldera House — a new rustic ski resort that opened doors in Teton Village.

The travel destination is focused on providing guests with a cozy experience that ensures balanced relaxation. The resort includes commercial spaces that are open to the public, as well as eight suits that can be rented by individuals.

Carney Logan Burke Architects attempted to facilitate an ambiance that is "chic but casual." Although the rustic ski resort builds on traditional cottage-like aesthetics, the designers infused the space with a sense of modernism, creating an agreeable juxtaposition. The architects were responsible for designing the building and six of the suites, while the public space was created in collaboration with Commune.
