Surreal Window Displays

Barney's Roomscapes of the Imagination is Full of Creative Emotion

Barney's latest window displays, entitled Roomscapes of the Imagination, will transport you into a world filled with surreal wonder and decadent quirkiness. Created in collaboration with designer/architect Rafael de Cárdenas, contemporary artist Joe Grillo, architects Peter Shelton and Lee F. Mindel of Shelton Mindel & Associates and interior designer Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz, each different window installation reflects the different tastes and imagination of each collaborator.

For instance, Rafael de Cárdenas' Roomscapes of the Imagination was inspired by Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s film 'The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant.' Titled 'Love Me and Leave Me,' it portrays an environmental mood for each emotion through geometric patterns and mossy landscapes.

Although each window display is as unique as the next, Roomscapes of the Imagination ties them seamlessly together as one stunningly creative work of art.
