The Roe & Co Coffee Stout Cask Finish has been created in collaboration with the Guinness Brewery as a distinct spirit for consumers to enjoy on its own or in their choice of recipe. The spirit is part of the distillery's Cask & Keg small batch series and features the whiskey aged in Guinness Open Gate Brewery's Coffee Stout casks to impart a distinct flavor profile. This is reported to have notes of vanilla, ginger, caramel and freshly ground coffee for a much more complex taste on the palate.
The Roe & Co Coffee Stout Cask Finish features a 46% ABV and isn't chill filtered. The limited release isn't available in the US just yet, but is priced at $59 per bottle.
