Sleepy Sci-Fi Shoots

The Rodeo Magazine 'Stopptid' Editorial Stars Valerija and Fatima

The Rodeo Magazine ‘Stopptid’ editorial, which means ‘downtime’ in Swedish, centers around two sleepy models who are appropriately dressed in super comfy and sporty outfits. Granted, that doesn’t mean they are in sweats and hoodies. Instead, they have donned loose dresses and forgiving pants that are at once sophisticated and laid-back.

Lensed by Swedish fashion photographer Peter Gehrke for the magazine’s latest 2012 issue, the Rodeo Magazine Stopptid editorial stars models Valerija Kelava and Fatima Siad. The Slovenian and Somali-Ethiopian beauties were styled by Tekla Knaust. The stylist chose a minimalist wardrobe that was feminine and slightly futuristic. The slicked-back hair by Dejan Cekanovic added to the sci-fi aesthetic while the bruised eye makeup by Ignacio Alonso gave the models an even more tired look.
