Vstone Introduces the Amazingly Dexterous Robovie-Nano

The Robovie-nano, the new tiny and amazingly dexterous robot from Japanese robot manufacturer Vstone, is conspiring to attack our hearts and wallets. Vstone’s Robovie-nano is just 230mm tall and weighs 575g (about the same as a really large can of soup).

With a starting price of ¥49,350 ($575) the Robovie-nano is considerably less expensive than other Vstone robots. With a few pennies more, you can deck your Robovie-nano out with paintable Lexan bodywork or optional "gripper shaft" mitts (so that he can hold things). Robovie-nano can walk in almost any direction, cartwheel, get down (to the beat) and pick himself up if he falls down. Not too shabby for a little guy.
