Spanning 36,000 square feet in floor plan, the new factory is quite technologically advanced. It features "a series of Shima Seiki automated knitting machines," automated guided vehicles, and robot arms. This robotic frenzy is accompanied by desks with "teams crowding over computers animatedly discussing design plans."
With the robotic knitting factory, KX Labs' focus is not necessarily on cost-saving but the firm is interested in figuring out pathways for "sustainability and creative collaboration."
