Developed by professor Gil Weinberg of Georgia Tech, this drumstick-brandishing robotic arm is capable of analyzing and responding to the music being played as well as the drummer's original movements. The limb pounds out beats that sync with the sounds it detects and that follow the percussive output of the drummer's own hands.

This robotic arm is essentially and effectively a "third arm" that is capable of quite literally lending a helping hand to drummers to help them expand their expressive repertoire.
