Reimagined Contemporary Tribalwear

Robert Geller Approached the Concept of Tribes for SS19

Robert Geller is a talented menswear designer and he recently showcased his captivating collection for the Spring/Summer 2019 season. For the new seasonal range, the designer drew inspiration from the concept of cults and tribal communities. Specifically, Geller looked for inspiration from Tuareg, located within the North African deserts and the orange-clad monks who reside all throughout Southeast Asia. Each community is quickly identified by their colored apparel and materials -- Geller took on these tonal and textile concepts and infused them into his SS19 selection.

For the warmer season, the designer experimented with several shades, textiles and pigment coloration -- with a deeper focus on indigo tones and ashy charcoals. There are also some light orange hues and earthy colors as well.
