Rebellious Hitchhiking Editorials

Felipe Cuartas Photographed Juana Carolina Martinez for C-Heads

Photographer Felipe Cuartas traveled to the "middle of nowhere" -- AKA the outskirts of Antioquia, a Colombian Province -- with model Juana Carolina Martinez to shoot an exclusive C-Heads editorial. The model-photographer duo were joined by stylist Lisa Salazar and makeup artist Linda Munera. Salazar dressed Martinez in a denim Harley Davidson vest, suede boots, overalls and plaid, while Munera gave her a mild smokey-eye look perfect for adventuring.

Whether she's taking in the scenery from the high vantage point of a mountain, skimming a book (Alexa Chung's 'IT') or stopping traffic with her out-of-this-world beauty, Martinez looks like she's enjoying every minute of this free-spirited journey.

Cuartas explains that he was inspired by road films over the past two decades, which depict a "sensual girl hitchhiking through mountainous roads."
