Paddle Wheel Homes

The River House by YONOH is Powered By Hydraulic Energy

The River House by YONOH is a futuristic house that generated its own electrical energy using a hydraulic mill that looks just like a paddle wheel. In order for the River House to work, the home would have to be built along the banks of a river or lake.

The small River House by YONOH would be a loft-style abode made out of granite and wood. A large paddle wheel becomes a focal point in the home and while on paper it looks quite spectacular, we're not sure how we'd feel about having to look at that thing turning around 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
