Richard Heeks' Photography Bursts Your Bubble and Makes for Fun Art

The Richard Heeks photography captures serene moments in soap bubbles. As Heeks completes his PhD he occupies himself with his bubble art project.

The concept of the art is simple; Heeks captures shots of bubbles inside bubbles. The first series was called 'Reflection Perfect' and the follow-up is 'Reflection Perfection.' Heeks does not use electronic devices to time the popping of the bubbles and instead relies on an organic process. The result is a series of stunning and mind-blowing captures. Highlights include the overt metallic circular photographs, the self-portraits and the beauteous nature shots. The bubbles possess beautiful scenes, but the background and ambiance of each shot is equally important.

The Richards Heeks photography is riveting, natural and ready to pop.
