The 'RHITA' Suitcase Can Be Fixed Instead of Being Thrown Away

Suitcases today are often thrown away when they have been damaged during travel, so the 'RHITA' suitcase has been designed as an alternative that would enable travelers to easily perform repairs as required. The suitcase doesn't use any glues or rivets in the construction process but instead uses components that can be interlocked together for enhanced stability. This allows the entire suitcase to be disassembled for components to be swapped out for new ones and have the old ones recycled.

The 'RHITA' suitcase is the design work of Jhen Jia Yang, Yun Cheng and Chun Yu Pan, and identifies what could be done to make travel accessories more sustainable and eco-friendly for avid travelers to appreciate.
