Nintendo announced back at San Diego Comic Con that an all-in-one NES console was on the way this winter, but this SNES retro console looks to beat the brand to the punch. Created by YouTube user lyberty5, the SNES console beats the brand's latest iteration by a long shot by being so small it can fit in a user's hand or pocket.

The SNES console works via a Raspberry Pi Zero configuration that enables the device to play pre-installed games such as Kirby Super Star and Yoshi's Island. Two USB ports are present on the front portion of the retro console to enable peripheral controllers to be attached.

Dubbed the 'SNES Micro,' the device is not for sale, but the maker has detailed the full process on how he created it on his YouTube channel.
