Aldo's Connected Retail Store Concept Integrates eCommerce

Aldo's 'Connected Store' is a new retail store concept that's being explored by the footwear and accessory brand in New York's Westfield World Trade Center Mall. The Connected Store is designed to streamline the in-store experience by offering connections to mobile eCommerce.

Upon entering the retail store, consumers are able to get a mobile notification that prompts them to open the Aldo app on their iPhone. From there, consumers will be able to easily scan products in order to access product images and descriptions for more information. Consumers will also be able to easily share products that they like on social media and add them to a wish list within the app. Shoppers who have compiled a wish list will be able to see the store's stock and easily request for a product to be tried on right from the app.

This new concept leverages technology to the fullest extent in order to improve the quality and speed of customer service.
