SimpleDeal is a mobile app that uses GPS technology to make it incredibly simple for people to get informed about restaurant deals on offer at nearby restaurants. App users simply have to point their phone at a restaurant and tap their screen to bring up the deals on offer at that restaurant for that particular day. They don't have to type or search anything; the app does it all.
The app launched in Long Beach, California on the iOS platform, but is steadily spreading to other US cities. The app's developers are running a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to fund their plans for national expansion.
The app is free for users, while restaurants have to pay $39 a month to be listed in the app's database. The fee gives restaurants the ability to load as many deals as they want and change their deals daily without having to share any of their profits with SimpleDeal.
