Waste Wood-Transformed Toys

Alicucio Creates Noble Toys and Furnishings the Old-Fashioned Way

The recycled toys of Arcangelo Favata, the sculptor behind Alicucio, are made of waste wood and intend to teach children how rubbish can be transformed into beautiful toys with craft and a big amount of love.

According to Alicucio "Rubish does not exist in nature, because everything can have another life". This is a sublime concept in the era of disposable plastic toys. The 'From rubbish to Love for Things' collection fully represents the eco-design brand, which offers a wide range of recycled design objects. The 'wood machines' are a series of wooden photo-machines that recreate the shapes of their "adult parents." 'Lallo' instead represents a double-transformation. It is one of the waste wood-recycled toys series and takes the form of a wooden horse with wheels that transforms into a table and holder. The recycled materials include a pallet, a rope, compressed wood shreds and a broom handle.
