SUAVS' Legacy High-Tops are Made with About Eight Recycled Plastic Bottles

SUAVS is introducing a new 100% recycled knit sneaker that's made entirely from vegan materials—right down to the glue—and repurposes an average of eight post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. As well as being appealing for its eco-friendly design, the sneaker is breathable, sweat-wicking and lightweight enough to be packed flat.

For years, the brand has been creating versatile, stylish and travel-friendly footwear products and SUAVS' proprietary sustainable knit fabric is part of a commitment to reducing its carbon footprint. To kick things off, SUAVS will be making its Legacy high-tops in the new material and by mid-2020, all new launches and current SUAVS styles will be made just as sustainably.

Beyond using sustainable materials, SUAVS is also conscientious of reducing waste during manufacturing and packages its footwear in boxes that double as return packaging.
