SwiftKey Will Now Offer Real-Time Translation of Messages

SwiftKey, a popular keyboard app for Android and iOS, now features integration with Microsoft's translator to provide real-time translation of messages in 60 languages. Currently, this feature is only available on the Android version of the app. The functionality of this feature of SwiftKey is built directly into the app and will not require users to download and install Microsoft Translator. The copmany even indicated that the app will work offline and will not require constant access to data or WiFi.

The introduction of this real-time translator positions SwiftKey in a unique space, as all other mainstream keyboard apps lack this ability. This is the first integration of Microsoft technology in the app since Microsoft purchased the company in 2016.
