Barbershop Beverage Branding

Rasurado Wine Packaging References the Town's Social Hub

Despite the fact that Rasurado Wine packaging makes use of the same dark glass bottle in which most other fermented grape beverages are sold, the treatment of the label certainly grabs attention. Although stationary, the white-, blue- and red-striped sticker seems to spin up and down, just like the familiar sign in front of a barber shop.

Moruba of Spain took advantage of this immediately recognizable image to produce a simple and punchy brand identity. But deeper than the surface, the makers of the Rioja red hoped to create a link between their product and the center of the average man's life: the male grooming salon. Rasurado Wine packaging conjures thoughts of the place where jokes are made, life stories are told and philosophy is discussed.
