For a lot of North America, the Polar Vortex has made this winter an especially cold and snowy one, but it hasn’t stopped people from getting out and about — especially if they were riding a fearsome RaptorTRAX.
At its base, the winter-conquering vehicle comes from a F-150 Raptor pickup truck that has been modified by California’s Special Vehicle Concepts. The RaptorTRAX is equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine, snowboard racks, a wicked sound system and snow tires that will not only roll over, but totally crush any obstacles in its path.
Later this year, a video will be released showing professional rally driver Ken Block pitting the Ford RaptorTRAX against the elements of winter.
