Racy Royalty Portraits

This Artist Honors the Queen of England's Rein with a Pin-Up Portrait

London-based street artist Pegasus created this racy royal pin-up portrait of Queen Elizabeth II to honor her royal rein. September 9, 2015 will mark the Queen's longest reining monarch, which is the reason behind this elegant yet scandalous retro image.

The large piece of street art features a younger Queen Elizabeth II with her back to the audience, as she peers over her shoulder wearing her crown. She is dressed in a purple one-piece that just barely covers her behind. The outfit has long sleeves and is paired with purple-colored stilettos. Additionally, the background of the image is a non-traditional pink Union Jack.

This racy royal image combines seductive tones with a tasteful appearance. It also honors the Queen's youth. Located on the wall of the Winchester Bar in Angel North London the artist's ultimate goal is to honor Her Majesty's beauty in way that has never been done before.
