The Lincoln Grant Scholar House Allows Parents to Pursue an Education

It can be difficult for a single parent to pursue an education, so the Lincoln Grant Scholar House is set to provide a support system to help them do so. Created by the Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission (NKCAC), the Lincoln Grant Scholar House will provide single parents with affordable housing, academic advising and even life skills coaching.

Set to open this December, the Lincoln Grant Scholar House is going to use the same model that has been developed by the Louisville Family Scholar House, which currently holds a 96% graduation rate. Single parents looking to pursue an education will be able to gain access to a wide array of programs in order to start off their educational career or continue their current one with support.
