Manchester United and adidas work in collaboration with iconic designer Peter Saville on the new Pulsebeat collection for the season. The new range brings the world of music, design, and football together with a spotlight on one of Saville's most famous works - the Unknown Pleasure album cover for Joy Division.
The cover is slightly altered, using heartrate data from Manchester United teams during competitive matches. It is then used to create the Pulsebeat designs, offering a two-piece tracksuit, short sleeve top, long sleeve jersey, a scarf, shorts, and a special edition adidas Spezial sneaker. Speaking about the new capsule, Saville states, "A Manchester hearts beat differently. It’s a place where people do things with an energy that permeates. Within this special collection, football and music become united."
