Purported as the world's smallest hotel, the McDonald's Monopoly Hotel is a mere eight feet by ten feet and has an interior design that's completely themed around the classic board game.

The McDonald's Monopoly Hotel was part of a contest being held to allow two fans of the brand and game to spend a night inside the hotel. Laura Paton and Emma Kendrick were the lucky winners and were greeted by a giant Mr. Monopoly before heading inside their tiny accommodations.

The McDonald's Monopoly Hotel publicity campaign was explained by Chief Marketing Officer of McDonald's Australia, Jenni Dill, who said, "Monopoly is one of those quintessential family board games, we’ve all got fond memories of playing it, so we wanted to bring it to life in a unique way."
