Creative Open Church Promotion

Black, Female & Hip Jesus

The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland promotes their diverse and open nature with a message of “Room for faith you consider yours” in a campaign that depicts Jesus as a female and a black man.

My favorite however is a hip dude Jesse who “really digs ya, man,” which continues with “As you can see, here at the church we run a bit short of words when we talk about love. We are only human after all, just like you. With this awkward attempt, we just tried to tell you that unconditional love is the greatest thing about faith. it has no demands, it doesn't force you. It understands and strengthens you, no matter what you do. You can be just as you are.”
