Sandwich-Inspired Fashion Shows

The Project SUBWAY Collection Uses Packaging to Create Couture

The Project SUBWAY fashion show was held to challenge designers and to promote the sandwich brand.

The event was organized to look like a traditional fashion show, complete with runways and models. However, the designers had a challenge -- they could only create pieces with items found in a Subway sandwich shop. Forcing creativity, the final dresses were incredible. There was a mix of plastic bags, napkins and gift cards that all went into creating stunning couture.

Since this was a competition, there were judges such as Jared the Subway guy, and they had to assign a winner. The best looks will be displayed in a restaurant in New York, and they all get to eat for free during the month of September.

The Project SUBWAY fashion show was a huge success, and it proved that packaging materials can look fabulous.
