Disney Introduced Its Hulu Profile Linking On Disney+

Disney launched a profile-linking feature that allows eligible Hulu bundle subscribers to connect an 18+ Hulu profile directly to Disney+, creating a more unified streaming experience across the company’s services. The integration brings Hulu watch history, Watchlist items and personalized recommendations into the Disney+ interface while adding a dedicated Hulu Hub and expanded avatar customization options.

Subscribers can link profiles using their existing MyDisney credentials, after which Hulu titles appear in Disney+ sections such as Continue Watching, Watchlist and the personalized For You feed. The rollout is initially available to select bundle subscribers and will expand more broadly later this year. Disney also announced plans to test a Live Guide inside Disney+ that surfaces live Streams and networks tied to bundle subscriptions.

For viewers, the feature reduces friction between platforms by preserving personalization and viewing continuity across apps. The update reflects a broader streaming-industry shift toward consolidated ecosystems built around unified discovery, shared identity and single-sign-on convenience.
