Although the Priscilla platform doesn't look very sci-fi to me, designer Chrissie Morris was apparently inspired by one of the research robots in the Humanoid Project in Sweden.
Of course, the Priscilla platform is structurally stunning with its plethora of buckles, hot red heel and leather detail. It's as though Morris wanted to contrast feminine touches with masculine hardware, which in that case does create a unique, futuristic-like shoe.
