The Principal Hotel Has a Classic Exterior with a Modern Interior

Though originally opened in 1898 as the Hotel Russell, the lavish London space has recently undergone a large and luxurious renovation and is now named the Principal Hotel.

Creating a lavish overhaul of the interiors, the hotel now has modern guest suites that were designed to make guests feel at home. Keeping the exterior as close to the original design as possible, the design team simply updated the necessary structural features, keeping the castle-like facade. The 334 room hotel has local artwork, creamy drapes, luxe fabrics and a calming color scheme. The lobby now has unique dining options that attract guests as well as locals with the contemporary design and one-of-a-kind menu.

The Principal Hotel is now open after being closed for years for renovation and is available for booking online.
