Principado by Studio Dass is Inspired by Parent and Child Relationship

Principado by Studio Dass, a design firm based in Lisbon, Portugal, is the new nursery room built for Parque Principado, a shopping center in Oviedo, Spain. At once futuristically minimalist and intimately cozy, the space bridges the gap between the commercial vibe of the mall and the whimsy of childhood. Warm wood panels contrast with a sweeping white wall made out of Corian while painted trees and birds are lit by illuminated columns scattered throughout the room.

Principado by Studio Dass represents the relationship of love, intimacy and trust between parent and child. The designers write, "To transport these feelings into the design of this nursery room was the main objective in order to creating a cozy, cheerful and bright place." They accomplished this in a playful and dynamic way.
