Hong Kong-based portable coffee equipment brand Wacaco Company Limited describes its patented manual immersion brewer, Prestina, as its most minimal brewer to date because it's compact, paper-free, hand-powered, and replaces the usual piston with the cup itself. Designed to make it easier for people to make and enjoy better coffee wherever they are, this manual coffee brewer consists of a brewer body and cup that nest into one another, a portafilter, lid, spoon, and a drip tray for convenient, mess-free use. "With Prestina, we wanted to strip manual brewing back to its most essential form. The breakthrough was realizing the cup did not have to be separate from the brewing mechanism—it could become part of it," explained Hugo Cailleton, Wacaco Co-Founder and Chief Designer.
Prestina comes in three colors (Sage Green, Clay Pink, and Coal Black) and is set to be showcased at the upcoming World of Coffee Brussels event.
