Spanish street artist Pejac has created a series of powerful street art that blends in with its surroundings.
Placed on the walls of a Palestinian refugee camp in Amman, Jordan, his art work is created by chipping paint off of building walls to create images. The art is highly political, representing a bulldozer coming towards a solitary man, a child holding a kite and what looks like people working in a village while the infrastructure around them crumbles.
The powerful street art blends into the walls because of the paint-chipping technique used and at a glance one may not notice there is anything even there. Upon closer look, what the viewer sees is a powerful message of misfortune as well as hope for these displaced peoples.
