Knitwear designer Timothy James Andrews knows how to make a pom-pom hip. His latest Capsule Collection for 2008-09 works in poufs of all sizes.
4" multi-coloured poms are strung together to make neck pieces and sweater features. Indigo blue pumpkin-sized sleeves stand way out on a mostly black mini-dress. A knitted red dress is the epitome of bubble fashion with its bulbous skirt and fringed hem. He also integrates plaids, tie-dyed materials and in a past collection, over-sized chain necklaces.
Andrews, a graduate of the Royal College of Art is bound to create a stir in the fashion world with bold colours and his cutting edge style.
