Casually Informed Polo Shirts

Engineered Garments and Uniqlo Create a Humble Approach of the Polo

Streetwear imprint Engineered Garments work in collaboration with Uniqlo on a collection full of polo shirts -- the main design element is the casual approach of the preppy silhouette. The two labels re-imagine the traditional design in a series of styles, prints, and colors.

Some of the details include stripes, polka dots, and plant graphics, with colorway options that explore predominantly muted hues. Some of the tops directly reference Engineered Garment's designer Daiki Suzuki's design language -- the front of the shirt and the right sleeve are complete in one color whereas the left sleeve and the back is adorned in another. Additionally, the collection also feature some patchwork design by fusing prints together. The collaborative polo shirt collection is set to launch at select Uniqlo stores beginning May 27th.
