Stuffed Polenta Bites

This DeLallo Foods Recipe Reinvents Polenta as a Satiating Finger Food

To show off one of the many uses for its Pomodoro Fresco Sauce, DeLallo Foods shared a recipe for cheesy snack-sized stuffed polenta bites.

Although polenta is a dish of boiled cornmeal that is generally solidified into a loaf that can be baked, this recipe calls for the instant polenta to be added poured into the forms of a small muffin tin. Once layered with savory Italian sausage, cheese and topped with another layer of polenta, the baking tray is ready to be baked in the oven until hot and bubbly.

The finished product that comes out of the oven may be served with an Italian sauce for dipping to create a bite-sized appetizer that requires no utensils for eating.
