Potato-Peeled Cities

Plot by Peter Root is a Good Source of Vitamins

Plot by Peter Root is a miniature city made entirely out of potatoes. The tiny town was created just before St. Patrick’s Day and surely the Irish would enjoy this piece of artwork made from their national vegetable.

The potato city took three weeks to create and Root said he used 60 kilograms of potatoes to create buildings and other structures. His only tools for carving were a knife and a bicycle repair kit which helped him turn vegetables into skyscrapers. One can see the immense detail in the design as every building has holes poked for windows and the clock tower has a carved clock face.
