Pizza Time, a 24-hour pizza restaurant in Toronto, created a minimalist pizza box design that helps to promote its all-hours offerings with a focus on the off-hours. The pizza boxes target loyal consumers who order at regular orders, so that someone who orders a pizza at 1PM will see messaging that supports ordering a pizza at 1AM. In all, 12 unique pizza box designs were created, each of which coordinated with a different delivery hour and its counterpart during off-hours.
On the pizza box for 8PM, the box plants the idea of ordering an 8AM pizza for breakfast. The playful pizza boxes feature minimal graphics and text yet offer a convincing argument for having pizza at any time of the day.
