Marco's Pizza Has Added Customizable Pizza Bowls to Its Menu

Ohio-based restaurant chain Marco's Pizza is adding pizza bowls to its menu to give customers more low-carb options that allow them to pack more protein and vegetables into their orders.

When ordering one of the Build-Your-Own Pizza Bowls, customers can choose up to four toppings to complement the savory three-cheese and specialty tomato sauce base. If they choose to, they can also add additional toppings for an extra cost. Those looking to forgo pizza crust can also order one of the Marco's Specialty Pizza Bowls, which are offered in three variations: All Meat, Garden, and Deluxe.

CMO Chris Tussing spoke to the new menu addition, stating "Adapting to consumer trends is part of our DNA and this carb-cutting alternative proved to be a bold and refreshing move in our category, so we leaned in. No one can match our original sauce, signature cheese and high-quality toppings baked into a delicious, crustless pizza experience."
