The Pixelkabinett 42 is a retro arcade-style video gaming console that looks like an industrial wooden cabinet when not in use. The two-player console is the work of Swedish designer Love Hulten of R-Kaid-42 and R-Kaid-R fame.
This console has a 19-inch LCD screen, contained within its lid, that folds down against the ash/American walnut cabinet body in order to keep dust off the controls between gaming sessions. The controls themselves include dual joysticks, button controls and a speaker paired with a bass-heavy subwoofer.
The Pixelkabinett 42 comes with a selection of classic games. Buyers can also opt for a PC-embedded version that allows you to download games via USB. This console is sure to appeal to gaming aficionados as well as lovers of quirky design.
