Jenga-Inspired Furniture

The Pixel Table by Studio Intussen is Playfully Versatile and Sustainable

The Pixel Table looks like it was inspired by the puzzle game known as Jenga. In fact, it could easily be mistaken as a big version of the balancing tower. But the Pixel Table doesn't challenge people to display their motor and mental skills. Instead, it serves a purely practical purpose. The individual blocks of wood that slide in and out of the Pixel Table are not meant to fall out like traditional Jenga pieces. Instead, they combine to form additional storage and surfaces.

Designed by The Hague-based Studio Intussen, which was founded by Tessa Kuyvenhoven, the Pixel Table is made out of a bundle of uniformly cut bamboo. The Pixel Table is versatile and sustainable.
