Jean Paul Gaultier SS 2008

In the spring we featured an article on the dominance of pirate- and nautical- inspired fashions. Today, we have photos fresh off Jean Paul Gaultier's runway, where again, the pirate look dominated the collection. The show, part of Paris Fashion Week, featured elaborate captain-esque hats, an array of pinstripe fabrics, and the models with wild, untamed manes, their locks appearing as though they were tousled up by an ocean breeze.

Implications - The Jean Paul Gaultier Spring/Summer ‘08 collection truly does show the very best of famous models like Lily Cole. For all of those people that recognized Captain Jack Sparrow style from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean, I would have to agree with you because I see it too!
