Man's best friend might be a dog, but for the military man it will most certainly be the Pip-Boy 3000. Although this wrist-worn display is only in the prototype stage, eight have been sent over to the U.S. Army for testing.
Produced by Universal Display, the Pip-Boy 3000 gadgets "are designed to display mission-pertinent data to the wearer," according to Dvice. Ignorance may be bliss, but on the field the more a soldier knows could be the difference between life and death.
