This Kid-Friendly Eyewear Shop was Designed by Pinkeye

Belgium-based design firm Pinkeye created this unique eyewear shop, which is specifically made for kids. The glasses boutique is called Toop Optiek and focuses on appealing to children who must wear glasses.

In order to make the children feel welcomed and comfortable, the entire store is decorated in a soft yellow color scheme. The ceiling is completely yellow, a hue inspired by sunlight. The walls are a dark color with yellow display cases fastened to them. Each case is decorated with creatures that resemble aliens -- this is where the glasses are displayed, making children more inclined to try them on.

The design team at Pinkeye understood that purchasing glasses isn't a dream come true for most kids and opted for a concept that promotes nostalgia and playful elements.
