The Lakes Distillery Pink Grapefruit Gin has been created by the brand as a way to help satiate growing demand for flavored gins amongst cocktail-loving consumers. The gin is reported to have a balanced flavor profile that is achieved with juniper along with pink grapefruit to give the spirit a zesty profile that also contains no added sugar or sweeteners. The product is made with water sourced from Lake District National Park and distilled in a traditional copper still.

Dhavall Gandhi spoke on the new Lakes Distillery Pink Grapefruit Gin saying, "Inspired by my favorite Lakes G&T serve – which is garnished with a slice of pink grapefruit – we set out to make a new expression that will stand the test of time alongside our classic Lakes Gin. Following the philosophy of less is more, we explored different garnishes until we discovered the one which perfectly complements the balanced flavor profile of our juniper-forward gin. Ensuring we didn’t overpower the true nature of The Lakes Gin, we chose to enhance the vibrant notes of juniper and coriander with the naturally sweet, uplifting citrus flavor of pink grapefruit, making a lively new addition to our range that simply needs plenty of ice and tonic water to serve."
