This new wall material called 'PICT' by Fred & Fred is a new modular optical that’s made out of glass bricks. The glass bricks look pretty cool and come in clear or a deep red color. The idea behind the PICT wall by Fred & Fred was to create a comfortable space which harnesses light.
The glass bricks are better for the environment as they allow more natural light, but also because of the creation of the bricks themselves. Through each stage of creation the designers, as stated on their website, follow "a full program of eco-research, to be able to deliver products that are made of recyclable materials and function without using external energy."
