The Piano Bookshelf Lends the Home a Melodic Vintage Vibe

Made for the musically-inclined, the Piano Bookshelf is a masterpiece on at least two levels. The last piano from the first half of last century built in Riga Pianofactory was converted into a stunning piece of furniture. Although some might view the Piano Bookshelf as instrumental sacrilege, others will see it as a beautiful preservation of the past. Especially since the body of the piano was damaged and its keys broken.

With strings and hammers removed, the piano was hollowed out and deepened, to better accommodate its literary library. The keypad was then restored in order to give the Piano Bookshelf a cleaner aesthetic. The finished product is now the home of Real Stories from land and sea collection.
