Wellness Technology

Philips Sense & Simplicity

Over the next three days, Philips will promote their Sense and Simplicity wellness campaign in London, showcasing a wealth of life-style enhancing concepts.

"We're promising to make technology easier for you to experience and designed around your unique needs, while still remaining advanced," the international technology company said.

One display consisted of a cardboard concept park with electronic gadgets such as colour-changing LED concept benches and street lamps that imitated the romantic light of the moon.

Philips hopes that the new concepts will serve as proof that technology can enhance lives, promote healing, encourage relaxation, and make it easier to integrate personal well-being into everyday life.

Philips is holding the Simplicity Event at the Earls Court exhibition centre in London over the next three days to showcase their five year vision for the future of wellness technology.

"The clever use of technology married with intuitive, personalised design can lead to unexpected approaches to caring for people's well-being at home, in the hospital and on the move," said Andrea Ragnetti, CMO of Philips.

"The heart of our Simplicity Event here in London is showing our stakeholders what the Philips brand of ''sense and simplicity' means for our customers when it comes to our vision for tomorrow's products. And that means designing concepts and products around consumers' needs.

"Today's event is a way to stimulate creative thinking in design, as well as spark a dialogue with our stakeholders on how to address a growing desire for products catering to wellness. And we draw on this feedback when coming up with solutions that are not only easy, but also enjoyable to use."
