Peter Jensen Fall 2009 Show Is A Nordic Mix of Prints and PomPoms

The Peter Jensen Fall 2009 ready-to-wear collection was full of gloves, boots, cozy hoods and most notably, adorable Nordic prints. It had a clear northern European vibe, with lots of intricate floral prints, bright colors and pieces to keep you warm yet fashionable in chillier weather.

Peter Jensen created the collection as a tribute to his Aunt Jytte "because the Danish government paid for me to go to Greenland and the Faeroe Islands to research."

Style.com adds, "That’s how the folkloric cross-stitch patterns, beaded capes, blanket plaids, and white boots ended up layered into this cozily playful agglomeration of padded jackets, woolly double-bobble hats, over-blouses, and white miniskirts."
