Retro Icon Lookbooks

The Peter Jensen Autumn 2011 Lookbook is Inspired by Anna Karina

The Peter Jensen Autumn 2011 lookbook for the collection, Anna Karina, was inspired by the 60s Danish actress who was known for her doe-eyed look with heavy eyeliner. A fellow Dane, Jensen created the collection to be a complete tribute to the 60s.

With regards to silhouettes, the Peter Jensen Autumn 2011 lookbook featured mini-skirts, A-line dresses, capes and cardigans, pieces which could easily be translated into fall.

The collection is full of knitwear with criss-cross patterns and tweed, but the most unique pattern was the Hollywood Hills print that was created from Google Maps. The color palette for this collection featured mostly whites, bright reds and sky-blues, accented with contrasting black pieces.
