It is always interesting to see ordinary objects interpreted in usual ways, and the Perseus Mirror is an example of this sort of design. The lovely looking glass does not take the typical circular or rectilinear shape, and nor is it propped up in a familiar fashion.
The unconventional Miroir Persée has been cut in the form of an elongated droplet, referencing the old style of handheld mirror. In this case, however, the reflective material makes up the entirety of the whimsical piece, including the apparent handle. You can, of course, use Tamim Daoudi's beautiful creation in the antique way as well. What comes with the Perseus Mirror, however, is a flaring lumber cylinder that seems to emulate the contours of a flower pot. The reference is strengthened when the reflector is planted into it.
